Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RaiseDeck ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RaiseDeck is an AI-powered pitch deck generation platform that helps startup founders create investor-ready presentations. The Service includes deck generation, editing, exporting, and sharing features.

3. User Accounts

You may sign in using Google OAuth or other supported authentication methods. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Your Content & Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you provide to RaiseDeck, including company descriptions, financial data, traction metrics, team information, uploaded documents, and any other materials. By using the Service, you grant RaiseDeck a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of generating and storing your pitch decks.

This license is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and terminates when you delete your content or your account. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content.

5. AI-Generated Content

Pitch deck content generated by RaiseDeck is produced using artificial intelligence (currently OpenAI GPT-4o for text and FAL.ai FLUX 2 Pro for images). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or fabricated data points. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before sharing it with investors or other parties.

RaiseDeck distinguishes between founder-provided data and AI-generated content within your deck. We recommend verifying all AI-generated statistics, market figures, and claims before using them in investor communications.

6. Data Security & Privacy

We take the security of your data seriously. All data is stored on Google Cloud Platform with enterprise-grade encryption:

• Data at rest is encrypted with AES-256 (database and file storage)
• Data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.3
• API keys and credentials are stored in GCP Secret Manager
• All API access is authenticated with cryptographically signed JWT tokens
• Your decks are isolated by your user account — no other user can access them unless you share

7. Third-Party AI Services

To generate your pitch decks, your content is processed by the following third-party AI services:

• OpenAI API — for text content generation. Per OpenAI's API data usage policy, your data is not used to train their models and is retained for a maximum of 30 days for abuse monitoring before deletion.
• FAL.ai — for AI image generation. Only text prompts describing imagery are sent; your proprietary business data is not shared with this service.
• Pexels — for stock photography. Only general keyword searches are sent to this service.

We share only the minimum data required to generate each individual slide or image. No third-party provider has access to your full account, complete deck, or uploaded documents.

8. Confidentiality & Data Processing

RaiseDeck acts as a data processor on your behalf. The following commitments apply to all users by default and are binding upon your use of the Service:

• Your content is confidential. All data you provide — including financial projections, revenue figures, traction metrics, cap table details, fundraising targets, team information, and business strategy — is treated as your confidential information.
• Purpose-limited processing. We process your content solely to provide the Service (deck generation, storage, editing, export, and sharing). We will not use your data for any other purpose.
• No disclosure. We will not disclose your content to any third party except the sub-processors identified in our Privacy Policy (Google Cloud Platform, OpenAI, FAL.ai, Pexels), and only to the minimum extent necessary to deliver the Service.
• Internal access controls. Production database access is restricted to the founding team on a need-to-know basis. There is no admin panel or support dashboard that surfaces customer deck content. All personnel with infrastructure access are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• No secondary use. We will never use your data for training AI models, market research, competitive intelligence, investment decisions, aggregated analytics, or sale to third parties.
• Breach notification. In the event of a data breach affecting your content, we will notify you via email within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.
• Deletion. Upon deletion of a deck or your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our database and cloud storage within 30 days.
• Custom DPA. If your organisation requires a separate Data Processing Agreement with additional or specific terms, contact us at vishwadeep@convexiti.com.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Generate content that is fraudulent or intentionally misleading to investors
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying AI models or prompts
• Overload or interfere with the Service infrastructure
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts

10. Sharing & Export

When you share a deck via a share link, the recipient can view your slide content. You are responsible for controlling access to your shared decks. Share links can be protected with passwords and expiration dates, and can be revoked at any time.

Exported files (PPTX, PDF, PNG) are generated on our servers and made available for download. Export files are stored temporarily and associated with your account.

11. Limitation of Liability

RaiseDeck is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any investment decisions made based on content generated by the Service, nor for any damages arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to inaccurate AI-generated data, service interruptions, or data loss.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the dashboard. Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed from our systems.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
